Resonance ROOT Framework for Pre-Primary learning

The early years of children's joyful learning are more important than ever in today's world of rapid change in education and technology. We at Resonance think that the conventional schools are failing to do enough to build the proper foundation at each age; we will provide a "new learning system" to build the right foundation at every age. Our weekly curriculum early childhood education is built around our unique Resonance ROOT Framework that is specially designed for pre-primary education in Hyderabad to nurture them to be happy, confident and curious learners.

A Happy Start to school life

School and nursery life doesn't have to be confusing for students following our nursery PP1 PP2 curriculum with the ROOT framework; it is “smooth sailing.” We know early years learners prefer being comforted and curious. The four pillars of our Nursery PP1 PP2 learning system are the key that ensures that all children are provided with the right support and exposure to grow confidently.

Why have routine & readiness? 

The first part of our framework is about establishing a routine that makes the kids feel at ease and ready to go to school. Struggling to form a sense of self, structure offers a feeling of security during this tender age. We have a daily timetable which provides for activities including assembly, circle time and planned breaks for snacks. We include children's learning needs such as phonics, storytelling and preparation for numbers into these activities, ensuring that children will be ready for the next levels of learning. This emphasis on readiness will help children develop these self-care traits and communication skills that will be used throughout their lives.

What’s included in Outdoor & Active Learning

We carry the belief that the world is a classroom and learning should not be limited by four walls. ROOT has a focus on play-based learning to foster movement, coordination, and laughter in his learning. Practical learning exposure given to students through art, nature and story telling. It is respected that physical development works alongside cognitive development, whether this is in the form of PE, yoga, dance or games which incorporate movement.

A One-Team Learning

Social development is an integral part of pre-school education. To support children to learn with others and by others we will work on our ‘One-Team Learning' pillar. Teachers are always at the children's disposal and are able to aid them in a safe environment, and all children feel seen and heard. Students have opportunities to become ‘capable global citizens’ through development of empathy and interaction skills through circle time and group activities.

Building Thinking & Independence

The last step in the ROOT methodology is to take note of early ideas and their confidence in thinking for themselves. A small task is given to the students to encourage their imagination e.g. colouring with their own choice of colours instead of being confined to "fitting in". We combine play and fun based learning with a good mathematical, literacy and numeracy programme, giving the children from the earliest stages a raft of 'how' and 'why?'.
